Don't understand why people name games english and then everything in the game is french (or other languages). Why is the game not called cueilleur d'or?
Because « cueilleur d'or » means nothing. Because a name have to be succint, and « Récolteur d’or » is not. Because we can choose the name we want. Because if we translate the game, we can keep the same name. Because french gamers are able to understand that kind of name. Because this is not even a released game, just a participation to a game jam.
But of course, it’s just my opinion. Feel free to ask the people who translate the names of the movies. ’cause it’s the same.
The Hangover (VO) -> Very Bad Trip (VF) Runaway Bride (VO) -> Just Married (VF) No Strings Attached (VO) -> Sex Friends (VF) The Boat That Rocked (VO) -> Good Morning England (VF) and so on.
